Mr. S.M. Manzurul Islam Chowdhury is the Chief Consultant of Continuing Education Centre (CEC) a leading human resource development organization in Bangladesh. He is one of pioneer facilitators with wide versatility and has got 26 years of experience in training and teaching in abroad and Bangladesh. He completed his Masters program form Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok in 1983. He is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI) USA. He is also member of International Reading Association, USA, and South Asian Network for Development and Environmental Economics and Life Fellow of IEB. He has developed more than 30 courses in the area of business management and development management. Out of which 17 courses are patented and trade marked. His area of interest includes knowledge driven informed decision-making process in project management and integration of project Knowledge Management (KM)
Mr. Islam has vast Experiences in:
- Started career as Design Engineer in Shaheedullah & Associates ltd
- Joined IFIC, AIT Bangkok as Research Associate in 1986
- In 1987 became Information Scientist of IFIC, AIT, Bangkok
- In 1987 selected as Assistant Editor of International Journal of Ferrocement
- Joined Bangladesh Institute of Technology, Chittagong as Assistant Professor in 1989
- In 1990 established Abacus & Automation ltd. - a leading IT company
- At the same time joined Continuing Education Centre as Chief Consultant
- Extended time to time consultancy services to WFP, WHO, UNICEF, GTZ, CDSP III for retreat, learning workshop and project management
- National Consultant to WTO for Quality Support to exporters in Bangladesh since March 2008
- Practicing NLP since 2008 specially for one to one coaching for senior management people
- Consultant and facilitator to a number of Government and Development Agencies
